The John H. Seinfeld One Hundred PhDs Symposium

This symposium will celebrate the remarkable and transformative impact of the community of scholars John has mentored. Since he joined the Caltech faculty in 1967, John has advised more than 100 PhD students. Many undergraduates and Postdoctoral Research Fellows have also benefited from his mentorship. The event will evolve over two days – Friday will highlight recent research from members of the community John has mentored. Saturday will feature rising stars - students, postdocs, and other early career scientists (<10 years since PhD, including those with no connection to Caltech) - who are driving the field of atmospheric chemistry forward.
